The Mapping Operations team provides an accurate, up-to-date HD map that describes the world around us. This map, collected onboard our vehicles and processed by our team, must meet intense quality standards achieved through structured workflows, rigorous policy and attention to detail. Along with providing HD map production, the team supports and enables data-driven decision making by providing GIS analysis to teams across Ford and Latitude.

What you'll do:
- Responsible for multiple high-level team functions related to producing, analyzing, and creating standards for GIS and mapping data
- Work with management to define targets, set priorities, and measure and report on progress
- Define, develop, and present key organizational and department metrics related to production output, quality, and/or other business metrics
- Develop system processes, standards, and documentation for the Data Services Operations teamSupport team in delivery of core requisite mapping operations that drive system development and broader enterprise capability in ADAS
- Coordinate and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the map production workflow
- Provide input on software development initiatives and coordinate releases of new tools and features
- Actively work through multiple threads of work at varying levels and consistently deliver high output for the Mapping Operations team
- Acts as a key contributor in complex and critical work streams that impact Mapping Operation's output and KPIs
- Bachelor's degree with two years of employment experience required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree with four years of employment experience or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with six years of employment experience required
- 3 - 5 years of experience coordinating, managing, or producing HD geospatial dataStrong ability to collaboratively shape, refine and prioritize ambiguous requirements into effective solutions
- Experience with documenting complex, technical processes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Programming experience using SQL, Python, and JavaScript
- Bachelor's Degree with a major emphasis in GIS, Computer Science/Engineering, Cartography, Geography preferred
