Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and internal protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control processes, FDA regulations, and ISO standards. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to monitor quality metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspects raw materials and finished product.
- Conduct product inspection to visually inspect process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
- Acquire knowledge of operations and equipment, instrumentation, operation processes, etc.
- Communicate within the group to insure Maintenance and Operators are kept up to date with what occurred during the shift and possible fixes.
- Complete all documentation for releasing of material and end of shift documentation as required.
- Perform testing on products manufactured during the shift
- Relay and document test results in a timely manner
- Formally release products
- Prepare certificates of analysis, as applicable
- Support in process quality checks and measurements as needed
- Support general activities as assigned by Quality Manager
- Educate fellow co-workers in the proper quality control procedures
- Demonstrate the Quality Management System to customers during plant tours and audits
- Verify calibration of measuring and test equipment and instruments in accordance with procedures
- Continuously build knowledge and skills; share expertise with others
- Assist in Quality Assurance Audits (Internal)
- Assist in answering corrective actions and implementing solutions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
