Actively hiring full time warehouse forklift driver in Rumford, RI for a wine & spirits wholesaler/distributor.
Under general supervision of the Supervisor, responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to their assigned stock locations.
- Forwards any non-saleable products to the Return Goods area for processing.
- Transfers merchandise from stock area to assigned pick area
- Requires years of previous experience operating a forklift
- Requires completion of a high school diploma (GED)
- Ability to understand English language
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
Job Duties:
- Load and unload trucks
- Move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- Spot tractor trailers
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Rotate floor stock
- Follow current good warehousing practice
- Use common warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments
- Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
