Salary: $70,000 - 90,000/year
As an Architectural Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and plans. Working closely with architects and engineers, you will translate design concepts into accurate drawings using CAD software and other drafting tools. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure that our architectural designs are meticulously documented and ready for construction.

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications, and design information.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
- Incorporate building codes, regulations, and specifications into drawings.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
- Create and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural engineers, MEP engineers, etc.) to integrate various design elements.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for drawing creation and revisions.
- Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in architectural drafting.
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Architectural Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience (2 years) as an Architectural Drafter in an architectural firm or related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
