Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Conflicts Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in conflicts analysis and resolution. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the firm's ethical and legal obligations by analyzing potential conflicts of interest and providing practical solutions to ensure compliance with applicable rules and standards. This position offers hybrid flexibility.
\n- Conduct comprehensive conflict checks for new clients, matters, lateral hires, and business development opportunities using the firm’s conflict-checking database.
- Analyze conflict reports to identify potential conflicts of interest and determine appropriate resolutions.
- Provide written and verbal guidance to attorneys and staff on conflict-related issues, including waiver requests and ethical considerations.
- Collaborate with the firm’s General Counsel, Ethics Committee, and Risk Management teams to resolve complex conflict matters.
- Draft and review engagement letters, waivers, and other documentation related to conflicts clearance.
- Stay updated on ethical rules, regulations, and trends in conflicts management, particularly as they pertain to the legal industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to conflicts management and ethical compliance.
- Support training initiatives for attorneys and staff on conflicts clearance processes and risk management.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
