Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety programs at construction sites. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to enforce safety protocols and cultivate a culture of safety excellence.
\n- Safety Program Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain construction site safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- OSHA & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, ensuring all required permits and documentation are in place.
- Training & Education: Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors on best practices, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, preparing reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Risk Assessment & Hazard Mitigation: Identify potential workplace hazards, implement safety measures, and ensure workers use proper PPE.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance reports.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and site personnel to create a proactive safety culture.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
