Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field supervision, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight : Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Team Leadership : Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, laborers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Scheduling & Coordination : Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance : Enforce job site safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Quality Control : Monitor workmanship, materials, and adherence to project specifications to deliver high-quality results.
- Budget & Cost Control : Assist in managing project costs, preventing unnecessary expenses, and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
- Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, or unforeseen challenges to keep the project on track.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and communicate updates to project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Permits & Inspections : Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
