We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Visualization and Power BI Lead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing data visualization solutions using Power BI, along with a strong background in supporting AWS and Azure cloud environments. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and requirements, as well as collaborating with data engineers and analysts to ensure the successful delivery of visualizations that drive business insights.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data visualization solutions using Power BI to provide insights into key business metrics and trends.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and reports.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that enable users to explore data and extract actionable insights.
Work closely with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for visualization purposes and meet performance requirements.
Lead the integration of Power BI with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, leveraging services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on best practices for data visualization and Power BI development.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards to enhance user experience and responsiveness.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques, and incorporate them into our development practices.
Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Power BI solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
Drive adoption of data visualization best practices across the organization through training sessions and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in developing data visualization solutions using Power BI, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing intuitive and insightful dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including AWS Redshift, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL Database.
- Experience in supporting AWS and Azure cloud environments, including familiarity with services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, and Data Factory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes is a plus.
- Certifications in Power BI and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are desirable
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
