Electrical Engineering Technologist

About the Role:

Latitude Inc is seeking an experienced Automation Electrical Engineer/Technician to join our team. As an expert in automated control systems, the ideal candidate will have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), specifically in Ladder Logic programming. Additional experience with C programming is a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated control systems to optimize manufacturing and industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Control System Design: Develop PLC-based control systems using Ladder Logic.
2. Automation Solutions Implementation: Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
3. Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance on automation equipment.
4. System Integration: Integrate control systems with various industrial components such as sensors, actuators, and HMIs.
5. Technical Documentation Management: Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure optimal system performance.
7. System Testing and Validation: Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper operation.
8. Maintenance and Updates: Maintain and update technical documentation, manuals, and software backups.
9. Training and Support Provision: Provide training and support to maintenance and operations personnel.

Salary: $30-$45 per hour
