We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and overall success of an annual environmental and community-focused initiative. This role requires an individual passionate about environmental conservation, cultural engagement, and community outreach. The Program Coordinator will ensure the smooth execution of events, activities, and initiatives, while fostering meaningful connections with diverse communities.
\n- Assist in the development and implementation of event plans, schedules, and logistics.
- Coordinate communication between team members, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and timely delivery of tasks.
- Manage event-related administrative tasks such as venue coordination, speaker coordination, participant registration, and resource allocation.
- Develop promotional materials and assist in the creation of social media content to promote events and raise awareness.
- Support the creation of materials and resources to engage diverse community members in environmental conservation efforts.
- Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during planning or execution.
- Collect feedback from participants and partners post-event to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records, including budgets, schedules, and contact lists.
- Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors, volunteers, and collaborators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in event planning, community outreach, or program coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic social media platforms.
- A passion for environmental conservation and community engagement.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
Salary : $18 - $23
