Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Analyst with a background in federal contracting and direct 1102 series experience. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFAR), contract management, and the full life cycle of federal contracts. This role involves managing complex contracts, ensuring compliance, and providing expert-level guidance on federal procurement processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and program management, to support the organization’s contracting needs. This poistion is a 6 month contract to hire and is remote 1 day per week.
\n- Manage the full contract life cycle, including pre-award, post-award, and contract close-out activities, with a focus on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR/DFAR) compliance.
- Review, negotiate, and administer government contracts, subcontracts, and modifications.
- Provide expert guidance on 1102 series federal contracting procedures and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms meet organizational goals and mitigate risk.
- Draft and review contract documents, including RFPs, RFQs, task orders, and amendments.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and compliance checks to ensure all contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government contracting officers and contracting agencies.
- Oversee contract performance, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and schedules are met.
- Prepare and submit contract modifications, claims, and disputes in accordance with FAR/DFAR.
- Develop and implement contracting policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate contract reporting and maintain comprehensive contract files and records.
- Support internal audits and provide documentation as required by the federal government or external auditors.
- Stay updated on changes in federal contracting regulations and industry best practices, providing training and mentorship to junior staff as needed.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
