About the role
Latitude Information Security is seeking a self-driven, results-oriented Director of Sales and Business Development to lead Latitude's business development and sales activities. By creating strategic connections, identifying new business prospects, and promoting our cybersecurity services to potential customers, this role will be tasked with increasing our market presence and meeting sales goals. Latitude’s executive leadership, marketing, and technical teams will work closely with this role to assure a high closure rate of qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth for cybersecurity professional services.
- Business Development: Identify and engage new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client security challenges and position our services as tailored solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely deal closures.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with technical teams, marketing, and leadership to align sales efforts with business goals.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging threats to refine sales strategies.
- Work Order & Contract Leadership: Lead the development of proposals, RFP responses, and work orders; work with Latitude executive team on contract negotiations.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, preferably in the healthcare market.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
- Experience working with enterprise healthcare clients and emerging healthcare technology and digital health organizations.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established network in the healthcare cybersecurity industry.
- Experience selling professional services, security risk assessments, security program development services, penetration testing, incident response, and/or third-party risk management services.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, or a related field.
The successful candidate may work remotely but must expect to spend occasional but regular time at the Exton, PA office; Latitude is flexible in that arrangement for the right candidate.
