Latitude is seeking a Cyber Incident Response Attorney to join the first-party incident response team of a dynamic mid-sized firm to assist clients in the diverse and quickly evolving field of data privacy and information security liability. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a niche law firm focused exclusively on counseling organizations in the context of data privacy, including incident response, regulatory investigation, single-plaintiff and class action litigation compliance. Interested candidates should have 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience. Exceptional analytical, written, communication, and preparation skills are a must, plus a focused attention to detail. Candidates can be licensed to practice and in good standing in their state of residence. This is a hybrid position in the Philadelphia area; open to remote.
Responsibilities of the Cyber Incident Response Attorney:
- Work in a highly collaborative, team environment to provide legal counsel to organizations investigating and responding to data privacy and cybersecurity incidents
- Collect information needed to understand the issue and scope of each situation, engage and direct experts needed to appropriately investigate and respond to the event, and communicate to regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, and other third-parties as needed while advising clients throughout the investigation
- Due to the unpredictable nature of cybersecurity events, all partners and associates participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide crisis management support to client
Requirements for the Cyber Incident Response Attorney:
- 3-5 years of legal experience; cyber experience is preferred but would consider someone with willingness to learn/be trained in cyber law
- Licensed to practice in any U.S. state
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Exceptional analytical, written, communication, and preparation skills, plus focused attention to detail are key to performing well in this highly responsive environment
- Initiative and the ability to independently maintain your own caseload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Compensation
- Pay: The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $165,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. This position is also eligible for bonuses and equity compensation. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location.
- Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
