What are the responsibilities and job description for the Illinois Based Litigation Attorney (Contract and Remote) position at Latitude Legal?
An Am Law 100 firm with offices nationwide is looking for an Illinois based attorney with at least six years of experience litigating to assist with personal injury and other general litigation matters on a completely remote basis (there is no expectation that the successful candidate will work in the office). This is a contract position. It can be either a part-time or full-time opportunity depending on what is best for the candidate. Experience handling general case workup activities such as written discovery, motion work, depositions and trial preparation in civil litigation matters is required. The successful candidate must also have some experience handling personal injury matters in a law firm setting. The successful candidate must be living in Illinois (Chicago area preferred).
Minimum Qualifications of the Illinois Based Litigation Attorney (Contract and Remote):
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
