Our client, a global enterprise software company, is seeking a paralegal to join the company on a full-time engagement basis. This position has the potential to become a permanent position in the future. The paralegal will support the Deputy General Counsel with projects in the areas of integration administration, general legal and compliance work, and other legal support work. This is a great position for an entry-level paralegal looking to work in-house. The position is fully remote.

Basic Responsibilities for the In-House Corporate Paralegal:
- Drafts, edits, and redlines internal governance documents and other legal documents related to day to day operations and acquiring businesses.
- Complies and updates templates to assist with acquisition of businesses
- Assist in administration functions related to integration of acquisitions
- Composes and prepares correspondence as needed
- Assists Finance, Tax and Mergers and Acquisition functions
- Collects and maintains documents related to acquisitions
- Maintains corporate record books
- Organizes and maintains legal files
- Performs other projects or duties as assigned, some of which will be finance and accounting related
- 1 years of experience serving as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant; experience in a corporate legal setting is a plus
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree; relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirement
- Highly professional, well organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude, and outstanding communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
- Willing to perform all levels of work
- Able to work a full-time schedule during regular business hours on Eastern Time Zone

- Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $35,000 to $55,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
- Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
