What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-House Litigation Attorney (Contract or Temp-to-Perm Position) position at Latitude Legal?
Latitude is looking for a Las Vegas area-based attorney with 10 years of litigation experience (5 or more years practicing law in Clark County) who is looking to use their litigation skills in-house at a gaming company. The successful attorney will be working on general liability/personal injury cases. The attorney will support the in-house legal department in assessing and responding to incoming litigation. The role will also involve managing litigation assigned to outside counsel. It is a full-time contract role with the potential to become a permanent position if the fit is right for the candidate and the company.
Requirements of the In-House Litigation Attorney (Contract or Temp-to-Perm Position)
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.

- 10 years of litigation experience either in-house or at a law firm (5 years of litigation experience in Clark County)
- Handle all aspects of written discovery and work-up litigation matters with a focus on general liability/personal injury cases
- Managing litigation assigned to outside counsel.

- Admission to practice law in Nevada is strongly preferred
