Latitude has partnered with one of our prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm clients in their search for a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in their Raleigh, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have experience advising, litigating, and investigating employment and labor issues, and drafting and reviewing employment policies and employment-related documents (such as offer letters, employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, employment policies, and separation agreements). The ideal candidate will also have some experience with respect to the employment aspects of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will exhibit a unique blend of strategic legal acumen and practical problem-solving skills, enabling them to excel in both contentious litigation and transactional work. They should be capable of dissecting complex legal challenges, formulating innovative strategies, and managing multiple cases with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications for the Mid-Level Labor, Employment, Workplace and Safety Attorney
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the North Carolina State bar and in good standing
- Minimum 3-6 years of labor and employment law experience.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing employment policies and related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
- Experience advising on the labor and employment dimensions of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with the capacity to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

- Location: Hybrid (2-3 days a week at the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina office)
- Compensation: The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $275,000 . Pay is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
