Clinton Street Boatel, nestled in the heart of Baltimore, MD, offers a unique blend of services, including rack storage for boats up to 35 feet, outdoor land storage for vessels up to 75 feet, haul-out services, bottom cleaning, a full-service fuel dock, and pump-out facilities.
We're on the lookout for a Dock Crew Supervisor to lead our dock team, oversee daily operations, and ensure that every guest has a smooth sailing experience. If you're a natural leader with a knack for marina operations, this role is your calling!
What You’ll Do (Your Daily Voyage)
- Steer the Team – Lead, train, and motivate our dock crew to deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe, efficient environment.
- Fuel Operations Captain – Oversee fuel dock activities, ensuring safe and accurate fueling procedures for both gas and diesel, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Dockside Maestro – Assist boaters with docking, securing vessels, and connecting to shore power, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
- Inventory Quartermaster – Monitor and manage inventory levels for fuel, dock supplies, and maintenance equipment, ensuring everything is shipshape and ready for action.
- Numbers Navigator – Handle basic accounting tasks, including processing payments for fuel, dockage, and other services, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintenance Mate – Utilize your skills with basic power tools to perform minor maintenance tasks, keeping the marina facilities in top condition.
- Safety Sentinel – Conduct routine inspections, enforce marina policies, and ensure that all safety protocols and environmental regulations are followed to the letter.
- Guest Experience Ambassador – Greet boaters with a smile, address their questions, and go the extra mile to ensure their time at the marina is nothing short of fantastic.
- All-Hands-On-Deck Attitude – Be ready to jump in wherever needed, whether it's assisting with special projects, resolving unexpected issues, or supporting your team during peak times.

What You’ll Need to Navigate
- Marina or Boating Experience – Previous experience in marina operations or a related field is essential.
- Fueling Expertise – Knowledge and experience with fuel dock operations, including safety and compliance aspects.
- Accounting Skills – Basic understanding of accounting principles and experience with inventory management.
- Physical Stamina – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and navigate the docks safely.
- Flexible Availability – Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our boating community.
- Tech-Savvy – Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marina management software is a plus.
