Employment Attorney (Remote)
Latitude is looking for top-tier employment law attorneys to offer ad-hoc employment advice to a number of corporate clients in California. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience advising employers on a comprehensive range of federal, state, and local employment laws and litigation, with a specific focus on California labor and employment issues.
Responsibilities may include :
- Providing guidance to clients on a wide variety of employment law matters, including but not limited to advising on employment laws, performance management, reductions-in-force, separation agreements, employee claims, independent contractors, and policies and practices.
- Assisting on pre-litigation employment disputes, responding to EEOC and other agency charges, managing outside litigation counsel, and negotiating separation and settlement agreements.
- Drafting and updating templates used by the HR team, including waivers, offer letters and contracts, severance agreements, and guidelines on best practices.

Compensation :
Pay : The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $250,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply / demand, and the candidate’s preference.
Benefits : In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD, and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
