Civil CAD Drafter Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil CAD Drafter with a strong background in storm water management or site design to contribute to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop detailed CAD drawings for civil engineering projects, with a focus on storm water management and site design.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce high-quality layouts, grading plans, storm water plans, and other project-specific designs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards in civil drafting and design.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from the project team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Assist in preparing preliminary and final design documents, including conceptual plans, construction drawings, and as-builts.
- Organize, maintain, and update CAD files and project records in line with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 1 years of experience in civil CAD drafting with a focus on storm water management or site design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
- Familiarity with storm water design standards, land development principles, grading, and drainage plans.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Salary and Benefits:
