Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks, advanced proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of invoicing processes. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the finance team to ensure smooth operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting skills in a dynamic environment. This is a 4 week temporary position.
\n- QuickBooks Management: Process transactions and manage accounts in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of all data.
- Invoicing: Generate and process invoices, ensuring they are accurate and sent out in a timely manner. Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card accounts, and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Perform data entry tasks to update financial records, prepare reports, and assist in monthly and quarterly closing processes.
- Excel Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel functions to track expenses, prepare financial reports, and create financial analysis spreadsheets.
- Assist with Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support for audits as required by the accounting department.
- Customer/Client Support: Answer inquiries related to invoices and payments, maintaining professionalism and accuracy in communication.
