Senior Linux Engineer Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 10 years of experience with implementing and managing Linux Server based server solutions in an enterprise network environment
- 10 years of experience with engineering server solutions to support LDAP, SSO, and VMware integrations
- 5 years supporting EDA compute farms
- 10 years of experience with designing and configuring Linux server integration with antivirus, backup, patch management, and system monitoring solutions
- Experience with Linux server patch management repositories
- Experience with implementing Red Hat or other Linux Operating Systems STIG remediations
- Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell, VBScript, or Python
- Experience in coordinating with change control and environment management, network, and security teams
- Experience in automation of server deployment, common tasks, and installation procedures
- Experience with VMware virtual server environments and configuring systems for maximum performance and operating flexibility
- Knowledge of networking technologies, including managing Windows systems and applications running on these systems
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
