Qualifications: Highly curious and passionate about growing your career in post-production. Some familiarity and understanding of Spanish. A portfolio or individual work samples showcasing developing skills in story editing, pacing, and visual creativity. Detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines. Ability to take direction and constructive criticism with a positive and collaborative attitude. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and knowledgeable in technical specifications and best practices of popular social media platforms. Knowledgeable in social media and mobile editing apps. Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative team environment. Â Responsibilities: As a Junior Video Editor at LATV Networks, you will support the post-production team in post-production for original series, social media, internal videos, and more. You will work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining positive, focused, and inventive. Additional Duties include: Edit video Manage media across local shared storage, network drives, and cloud-based storage systems. Prepare projects for video editors by importing and organizing media, syncing and Multicam, logging and pulling selects, and creating string-outs and assemblies. Search for stock footage and music. Encode, quality check, and deliver final videos. Clean up and archive projects after completion, ensuring they can be easily opened and accessed in the future. Maintain and enforce naming conventions, organization of folders and files, and other post-production best practices. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
