COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Latva Machine, LLC, an AS9100 Precision CNC machining company, has a legacy of excellence in producing the industry's most demanding aerospace, military, and high-tech components. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator II to join our growing team.
SUMMARY:
The CNC Operator II is responsible for operating CNC machines independently to produce precision parts, optimize job performance, and minimize scrap.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operate CNC machines independently with no supervision.
· Make accurate and timely adjustments to machine offsets.
· Perform basic setup steps, including tram/indicate fixtures and tooling installation.
· Use inspection equipment to ensure quality of parts.
· Communicate issues encountered to management.
· Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED; with 2 years machining experience.
· Strong mechanical aptitude.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
· Willingness to learn
· Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
· Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Physical ability to perform tasks, including bending, reaching, walking, standing, sitting, and lifting heavy items.
SCHEDULE:
· 1st Shift: M–F, 6:00 to 2:30
· 2nd Shift: M–F, 2:30 to 11:00 with a 10% shift differential.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
· Pay: $22.50–$28.00 per hour (40 hours/week).
· Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.
