Full Job Description: 

Laubacher and Company was founded in 1999 and concentrates in the area of Domestic Relations and Family Law in Cuyahoga, Lorain and Medina counties.  Our team is made up of 5 Attorneys, as well as support staff and an Office Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. Someone that is driven to help our clients navigate the complex legal issues that surround family law.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Represent clients in family law cases from intake to final resolution. Our office concentrates in the areas of divorce, custody, support and property division 

• Draft legal documents and pleadings such as complaints and answers, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, affidavits and agreements.  

• Represent clients at court hearings and trials while presenting cases effectively. 

• Provide support and legal advice to clients. 

• Communicate with clients regularly in person, by email and phone. 

• Work with our support staff to ensure that cases are managed effectively in a collaborative setting.  

Knowledge Skills or Abilities and Other Characteristics 

• Juris Doctorate Degree 

• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. 

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar and in good standing. 

• At least 2 years of experience in family law litigation. 

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. 

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team. 

• Experience as a Guardian ad Litem preferred but not required.
