ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Laudisi Enterprises — the parent company of Smokingpipes.com, Laudisi Distribution Group, Cornell & Diehl, Peterson of Dublin, and Low Country Pipe & Cigar — are searching for candidates who can embrace the energy of a fast-paced environment to support our internal technology needs as a member of our dynamic Information Technology team.
The IT team at Laudisi supports the software and technology infrastructure for twelve websites, our proprietary ERP software, and the technology needs of over 200 Laudisians in four countries. We take what we do seriously, and we're looking for someone to join a highly productive, close-knit, experienced team of developers and IT staff.
As the company has grown, we're looking to augment the existing staff with an IT Support Specialist. You should be technically adept, organized, engaged with the work and enjoy problem solving, both independently and as part of a team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform ongoing user technology support and general Helpdesk duties
- Troubleshoot and correct workstation, printer and ancillary device issues
- Perform on-site workstation repair (including hardware and software issues)
- Assist with technology asset organization and management
- Manage user accounts across on various platforms
- Run and terminate various cables
- Assist Systems Administrator with routine network tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- AS/AAS in a related field required. BS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 3 years experience in field
- One or more of the following certifications, or equivalents:
- Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA A Certification
- CompTIA Network Certification
- Familiarity with Mac OS, Linux, and Windows operating systems a plus
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Admin a plus
