Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional knowledge of, and grows relationships with, the talent within departments, their workload and superpowers.
• Optimizing talent on client teams to ensure its properly aligned from a talent-to-task perspective and also budget.
• Creates the business case for new hires (temporary and fulltime) in collaboration with department heads, and works with HR and Operations on securing talent when it’s needed on a freelance basis
• Translates various utilization reports into actionable insights for themselves and department leaders.
• Ensures data that helps to inform workload capacity, allocations and availability are maintained.
• Partners with department leads to be the pulse on talent to help inform assignments, rotations, risk and overall strategic staff planning.
• Interface with cross-departmental contacts to ensure seamless campaign delivery
• Serve as a champion and advocate of agency process and workflow
• Partner directly with creative and project management teams daily
• Secure, allocate and shift resources as needed, working directly with Department Heads and client business leads, including Project Management
• Continuously develop expertise in all internal systems and tools. Support and train other team members to take full advantage of our platforms. Support ongoing maintenance of resourcing platform.
• Consolidate and streamline repeatable tasks to develop process
• Leads weekly resourcing meetings, to ensure talent is properly utilized and works to resolve any conflicts or balance workloads.
• Partners with Operations to review monthly billability and utilization reports and share insights and action plan with leadership
• Works with project management to ensure internal resourcing platforms are maintained
• Proactively strategize department staffing needs, identifying peaks/valleys, core competency gaps/redundancies based on client forecasts and trends

Qualifications:

• 5 Years of resourcing management expertise in marketing/advertising industry
• Deep understanding of the creative and production process
• Firm grasp of the processes within an integrated agency environment and a love of creating order
• Deep understanding of the functional skills and responsibilities of various departmental roles
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence across all levels of seniority
• Comfortable working in an environment of constant change and doing so with a positive attitude
• Proactive and confident in prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Effective working with all levels of management
• Location is based out of our Chicago or Milwaukee Office
