Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while performing a variety of dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as the ability to perform specialized procedures such as oral surgery and root canal therapy.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform routine dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Execute advanced procedures such as root canal therapy and oral surgery when necessary.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics to meet patient needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in accordance with practice protocols.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Skills
- Proficient in general dentistry practices with expertise in dental fabrication and oral surgery.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and infection control measures.
- Experience with patient assessment techniques and managing medical records effectively.
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
