Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct various dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix software.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with maintaining medical records.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
