We’re currently seeking a Graphic Designer with a passion for soccer and a keen eye for dynamic, original design. This part-time, in-person role at our Pasadena studio will be instrumental in creating stunning visuals for our expanding portfolio of soccer clients across the country.

Position Overview

Launch Original is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer with a deep passion for soccer and a strong creative eye to join our team in Pasadena, CA. This in-person role is dedicated to producing bold, original, and high-quality visual content for a wide range of soccer-focused clients — including youth clubs, leagues, tournaments, national events, and elite player programs.

You’ll be designing everything from game day graphics, tournament posters, social media templates, recruitment flyers, club announcements, and more — all within the unique culture and energy of the soccer world. Your work will help shape the visual identity of some of the most recognized organizations in the sport, while also setting the creative standard for other designers on staff.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio of soccer-specific work, be able to follow brand guidelines while contributing fresh ideas, and have the technical skills to produce assets for both digital and print platforms. You'll play a key role in building scalable design systems and templates that drive consistent, engaging content across multiple campaigns — all within the fast-paced, high-volume environment of competitive soccer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design original and bespoke graphics specifically tailored to the soccer space, following established brand guidelines for clubs, leagues, and national programs.
• Create digital and print-ready assets including social media templates, posters, flyers, event materials, and more.
• Build and maintain a library of high-quality templates for use by other staff designers, enabling streamlined content production.
• Work on multiple projects at once, across several regional and national clients, all within the world of youth and competitive soccer.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with internal team via Slack, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Meet consistent in-studio hours: Monday through Friday, 10am–2pm in our Pasadena office.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A proven portfolio of soccer-specific design work is required — including digital and/or print materials created for clubs, leagues, tournaments, or regional soccer events.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience designing for both digital platforms (social media, web graphics, motion assets) and print formats(flyers, posters, signage, banners).
• Strong grasp of typography, layout, color theory, and consistent brand execution.
• Ability to follow established brand guidelines while contributing original, bold, and energetic design work.
• Comfortable working quickly, efficiently, and accurately under tight deadlines in a soccer-centered, fast-pacedenvironment.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Must be comfortable using Slack for team communication and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Drive) for collaborative tasks.
• Bonus skills: Experience with Figma, Canva, or basic video editing tools (like Premiere Pro or After Effects) is a plus.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related creative field.
• 2 years of professional design experience, strongly preferred within the sports industry — with an emphasis on soccer.
• Prior experience working with youth sports organizations, soccer clubs, or event-based marketing is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to create high-volume, high-quality content across multiple brands or campaigns.
• Understanding of soccer culture, terminology, and visual trends — from grassroots to elite levels.
• Experience developing design systems or templates for use by a larger creative team.
