Assistant Property Manager Job Description
Launch Property Management’s (LPM) mission is to catalyze community through hospitable housing. The Assistant Property Manager's role is to support the Property Manager. The ideal candidate must possess great written and oral communication skills; assist in preparing and completing lease signings and renewals; manage tenants relations; and excel in time management. Computer skills are a must.
Reporting and Compensation:
- Reports to: Property Manager
- Compensation: Hourly 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe office hours to meet with tenants and answer questions
- Show prospective tenants floor plans
- Process applications for approval
- Prepare leases and complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly
- Secure resident signatures on all required paperwork
- Follow up with newly placed refugee resettlement issues
- Ensure resident data is up-to-date in the property management system
- Ensure utilities are transferred to tenant
- Assist in monitoring renewals
- Assist in pursuing delinquency
- Distribute company-issued notices digitally or in person
- Receive resident requests, comments, or verbal maintenance requests
- Bi-Monthly unit inspections
- Assist in enforcing property rules
- Interacting with contractors as needed
- Attend all required meetings and prepare and participate in additional and/or special
- Projects, as required from time to time
- Pick up trash as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Dependable, honest, truthful, and reliable work ethic
- Eager to learn and curious about how things work
- Friendly, positive, customer service-oriented attitude
- Valid Driver’s License, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone with the ability to install work related apps
- Pass a background check
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
