Job Description
Our company is in need of a self-motivated and experienced HR Assistant to support our busy HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientations and training and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR database. If you are a professional with a strong sense of discretion and a background in data entry, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following area:
- Manages employee data by entering and organizing data in systems, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, processing employee changes, and people-related actions, educating on employee self-service, and generating reports.
- Regularly audits training records and credentials/licenses to ensure employee records are maintained up-to-date. (e.g., anti-harassment training, CPR certification, etc.)
- Processes separations of employment and is responsible for communicating with management team, conducting exit interviews, processing forms, and systems/account management, etc.
- Helps improve HR initiatives by assisting with existing processes, identifying and clarifying problems, and evaluating potential solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. This is a fast-paced environment, so the candidate needs to be able to exercise patience, composure, and discipline.
- College degree or above in human resources related majors is required (bachelor degree preferred)
- More than 3 years of relevant administrative management experience
- Pay attention to details and be organized
- Strong communication skills and strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Familiarity with the applicant tracking database system is preferred
