Overview :
LaunchTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dedicated security team, supporting a critical state government customer in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing essential technology infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation and security of our customer's network systems. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the network, contributing directly to the security of state infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Network Infrastructure Management :
Manage, secure, and optimize critical network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, DWDM, and SONET systems.
Operate effectively within Cisco and Windows Server / Active Directory environments.
Design and implement network segmentation and isolation strategies to enhance security and performance.
Deploy and manage Cisco ISE and Stealthwatch for comprehensive network security.
Apply expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, virtual switches) to optimize network operations.
Maintain and manage Forescout, Nozomi, and Gigamon tools to ensure network visibility and security.
