Interior Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Interior Mechanics with experience performing repairs on interior monuments, overhead bins, side walls and other interior related maintenance and repairs on commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Tampa, Florida.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Interior Mechanics will remove and install aircraft seats, bins, galleys, carpeting, blankets and perform minor sheet metal work on commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.
Quali fications and requirements :
24 months for S / M and Interiors
Relevant experience is 737, A319 / 320 / 321, and 767
We are a 24 / 7 operation, so candidates must be willing / able to work any shifts, including weekends. There will be NO shift / RDO preferences accommodated as they will be placed where needed.
Candidates must be able to pass a 10-year federal background check in order to obtain a SIDA badge from the airport. Your background check process should ensure contractors are NOT submitted if they have committed any of the disqualifying offenses on the TSA list.
We will not accept candidates who have had a failed, or refused, DOT drug and / or alcohol test in the last 2 years. For licensed positions, they should have a clear license in good standings.
For structures positions there will be a skills test that includes a written and practical exam. Failure to pass the skills test will result in termination of the contractor's assignment.
All candidates should have the ability to read, write, and speak / comprehend English. This is an FAA requirement that we must uphold.
