Security SOP & Compliance Specialist
Job Overview
We are seeking a Security SOP & Compliance Specialist responsible for writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with global and local policies. This role will also involve conducting security violation investigations, producing detailed written reports, and managing corporate security-related special projects such as audit requirements and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience beyond just physical security, with a strong understanding of security policies, compliance, and investigative reporting. This role requires on-site interviews, so candidates local to GP are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with global and local security policies.
- Conduct security violation investigations and create comprehensive written reports on findings.
- Support corporate security-related special projects, including audit requirements and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security compliance and risk mitigation.
- Assist in physical security operations, including contracted guard services.
- Work with access control systems, CCTV cameras, and security monitoring technologies.
- Analyze and improve security processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide support for security audits and ensure adherence to corporate security policies.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Security Management, Installation of Security Systems, or Emergency Management.
- Basic understanding of access control systems, CCTV cameras, and security system terminology.
- Experience in physical security operations, including contracted guard services.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field (may substitute for one year of professional experience).
- Experience with corporate security policies, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Strong investigative and report writing skills.
- Process improvement and security risk assessment experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
