POSITION SUMMARY
Join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of global compliance! In this exciting position, you will support the Global Compliance Department, helping enhance the compliance culture at our Jacksonville, FL location. Your expertise will ensure the effectiveness of our Enhanced Compliance Program (ECP) as it relates to U.S. regulations like ITAR, EAR, FCPA, the UK Bribery Act, and more. As we navigate complex laws, regulations, and internal policies, your contributions will be crucial in the delivery of our cutting-edge products and services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager, Program Managers, and Chief Compliance Officer to elevate our global compliance program and export operations.
- Provide expert guidance on U.S. trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC, Customs) to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with Program Managers, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Senior Leadership to ensure processes align with U.S. trade regulations.
- Manage export licenses, technical assistance agreements, commodity jurisdiction, disclosures, correspondence, and classification requests, keeping business activities compliant.
- Oversee international shipments, foreign travel, incoming foreign visitors, and technology releases to guarantee compliance.
- Drive the continuous improvement of our ECP and strengthen export operations.
- Conduct engaging trade compliance training for internal teams.
- Integrate compliance functions across departments, supporting business units to enhance efficiency and manage risks.
- Collaborate with legal and corporate compliance teams, ensuring full understanding and adherence to ethics laws.
- Support management in addressing compliance breaches, coordinating with HR for appropriate actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide valuable insight on potential compliance risks.
- Assist with drafting impactful compliance-related communications.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including those flagged by helpline channels.
- Develop control plans, monitor regulatory changes, and track actions to restore compliance.
- Partner with Internal Audit to implement robust monitoring and audit mechanisms.
- Continuously review and improve the effectiveness of the compliance program.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, with 4-8 years of relevant experience in:
- U.S. trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs)
- Familiarity with screening tools like Visual Compliance is a plus.
- Experience as an Empowered Official is a bonus.
- Proficiency with D-Trade, SNAP-R, ACE, and international shipping procedures.
- Expertise in export classification and privacy matters.
- Knowledge of international business operations.

Working Conditions / Special Requirements:
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and State/Federal regulations.
- This position is subject to ITAR/EAR and requires U.S. person status or the ability to obtain a DSP5.
