What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Service Advisor position at LAUNCH TransTechs?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, handle calls, and obtain necessary information for billing and details of repair.
- Review warranty of vehicle, generate repair orders and prepare for dispatching.
- Communicate repair progress with customer.
- Obtain authorizations for repairs.
- Assist in paperwork filing, document security and office organization.
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 5-7 years of consistent work history, mainly as dealership service advisor
- CDK experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and vendors.
- Pro-active self-starter. Team oriented.
- Must be able to work under pressure, handle conflicts and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and composure.
- Ability to work independently with little direction and meet deadlines.
- Assist and support management and co-workers.
Physical Requirements:
Safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone.
The ability to take direction and help maintain positive environment

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
