About the Role
We are looking for a proactive employee to provide instruction for LAUNCH’s Pre Employment Transition Services. This program guides and encourages young adult (ages 16-21) learner development in specific course objectives under the ACCES-VR contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and developing curriculum and lesson plans
- Delivering lesson plans and instructional materials to facilitate active learning
- Addressing the individual needs of each earning and providing differentiated instruction
- Creating a learning environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the learners
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Education or Special Education preferred. Experience working with individuals of various disabilities required. Experience with remote learning preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required skills include: active listening and effective speaking, time management, critical thinking, basic technology/e-mail, reading comprehension, effective written and verbal expression.
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
