As a Pre-Employment Skills Coach, you will play a crucial role in empowering LAUNCH clients to succeed in the workplace. Your day-to-day will involve providing personalized coaching, job readiness training, and fostering positive relationships with local employers. Location: 313 East Willow Street Syracuse NY
Part-Time, 20-25 hours per week
$20.00/hour
LAUNCH is different than other agencies! You will be scheduled for and will be paid for full time work. Other agencies don’t provide that support to their staff!

Responsibilities include:
- Train and mentor clients in job readiness, workplace behavior, and social skills
- Implement goal-driven services outlined in each participant's life plan
- Monitor and assess client progress to tailor coaching strategies effectively
- Work closely with employers to create supportive work environments
- Ability to meet physical and mental requirements
- Carry out all duties according to Agency, Program and OPWDD policies and regulations
Education, Skills and Experience
Associate degree or Bachelor degree required. Experience in vocational coaching, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities. Understanding of OPWDD regulations and guidelines is advantageous. We're looking for individuals with a diverse skill set, including effective communication, Strong interpersonal skills, time management, critical thinking, basic technology proficiency, and strong written and verbal expression. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and committed to empowering others. No experience, but have an interest in supporting those with disabilities? Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs and pass required background checks.
