We're looking for a high performing Sales Manager for the This Week in Startups podcast and our programs, including Founder University and the LAUNCH Accelerator. The position is in person, in Austin, TX.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and scale a team of three to four B2B sales executives
- Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing training, feedback, and support
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales approaches
- Translate product features into compelling value propositions for B2B clients
- Create, refine, and maintain sales collateral, decks, and pitch materials
- Develop and implement strategic plans to exceed revenue targets
- Optimize the sales process and use data to drive decisions
- Monitor pipeline health, deal progression, and individual performance metrics
Skills Required
- Minimum five years in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success
- At least two years managing a sales team (three direct reports preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to develop new products and go-to-market strategies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfortable with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Mixmax) and analytics tools
- Passion for innovation, leadership, and in-person team culture
