Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas, especially those related to food production and processing, meet industry standards for sanitation. The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for heavy lifting and operating cleaning equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all food production areas, including machinery, equipment, and surfaces.
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Utilize proper cleaning techniques and chemicals as per safety guidelines.
- Assist in the fabrication process by keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in custodial duties.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with food production or food processing environments is a plus.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
