Laundry Attendant

## Job Overview

Laundry Loop is looking to hire a Laundromat Attendant to join our team! The ideal candidate is bilingual, reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, trustworthy, has a willingness to learn, organized, strong communication abilities, and has a passion for customer service! You will greet customers, answer questions, and help troubleshoot any problems that may arise with our technology or machines. You will also learn the ins-and-outs of our Wash, Dry & Fold laundry process.

## Duties

This is a Customer Service / Retail position -- our laundromat is self-serve, but we pride ourselves in building rapport and relationships with our customers to give them an overall exceptional experience when visiting Laundry Loop!

• Greet our customers and guests -- Being bilingual is preferred for this position to better serve the Cypress, TX area.
• Become a laundromat expert who is able to troubleshoot any issues with our machines and technology within the store
• Sell laundry supplies and cover the Customer Care Center
• Wash, Dry, and Fold laundry according to our process (Care for our customer’s items as if they were your own)
• Cleaning frequently during work shift (machines, floors, restrooms, etc.)
• Check in and organize laundry bags for Wash, Dry & Fold service
• Sort and prepare laundry for the wash, dry, fold process
• Transport laundry from washers to dryers
• Fold, pack, and package orders
• Maintain accurate records of customer specifications & items laundered throughout the cleaning process
• Stocking Vending Machines if needed
• Other duties as assigned

## Qualifications and Experience

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills >> Bilingual to serve the Cypress, TX community
• Use of technology (POS system on tablet, televisions, machines.)
• High-level organizational skills with an accurate attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to problem solve
• The ability to work without supervision and stay on task to serve customers
• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours

## Schedule Requirements

• Open Availability is preferred
• 4 to 8 hour shifts
• Day-Afternoon shifts
• Afternoon-Evening shift
• Closing Shift (store closes at 10 pm, last wash at 9pm)
• Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Holidays (We are Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
• Open 7 Days a week
• Reliable -- ability to work scheduled shifts (90 day Performance Review Period)

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
