Position Overview
We're seeking an analytical, results-oriented Director of Performance Marketing to own and optimize our paid media channels and performance marketing analytics. This role demands a metrics-obsessed individual who thrives on data analysis, testing methodologies, and driving measurable growth through paid channels. This position will be crucial in driving the company's growth through data-driven paid media strategies and rigorous performance optimization.
Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Execution
- Own end-to-end paid media strategy and budget allocation across all digital performance marketing channels.
- Serve as the lead media buyer for Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Manage and optimize relationships with agencies and freelancers for secondary channel execution, including TikTok, Pinterest, PostPilot, and other emerging channels.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks across all paid channels
- Create and maintain attribution models to understand true ROAS across channels
- Drive performance optimization through continuous A/B testing and data analysis
Analytics & Reporting
- Own and maintain integrity of 3rd party performance dashboards and reporting systems
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify growth opportunities and optimization potential
- Own all paid media analytics and maintain source of truth for performance metrics
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to Head of Marketing and leadership team
- Forecast and model customer acquisition costs and lifetime value metrics
- Own attribution modeling across all marketing channels
Budget Management
- Manage significant monthly ad spend with full P&L responsibility
- Optimize budget allocation across channels based on performance metrics
- Develop scaling strategies that maintain efficiency at increasing spend levels
- Own and maintain sophisticated 3rd party forecasting models for channel performance

- 8 years of direct-to-consumer performance marketing experience
- Proven track record managing $1M monthly ad spend
- Demonstrated success scaling Meta advertising campaigns
- Experience managing and optimizing multiple paid channels simultaneously
- History of developing and maintaining robust reporting systems
- Strong background in media buying and campaign optimization

- Expertise in marketing mix modeling and attribution analysis, preferably with Prescient
- Heavy emphasis on leveraging AI in decision making and analyses, driving automation as much as possible

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
