Laundry processor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Processor to join our team. The company provides a pickup and delivery laundry service in Hartford County. We pickup laundry from customers in our van and bring it to a laundromat where we process it for next-day delivery. This position requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, neatness and customer satisfaction. Speed of work without errors is critical.

Duties

• Launder garments and linens according to established procedures to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing, determining the appropriate cleaning method.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding services offered and provide exceptional service.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies necessary for operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with garment care is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific cleaning instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.92 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
