Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the quality of service in our establishment, contributing to a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics or special requests.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
