Field Sales Development Representative

What we are looking for :

Assist in developing and managing new and existing accounts for Wascomat professional vended laundry equipment. The primary focus will be driving growth in the vended commercial laundry market through proactive sales efforts and excellent customer service.

Laundrylux is the leading company in the commercial laundry space!. We are looking for goal oriented, self-motivated tenacious individuals, with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for people to grow commercial laundry sales in their territory. Key target customers include laundromats, apartment complexes, hotels, nursing homes, and fire stations. You will develop and manage new and existing accounts for Wascomat professional vended laundry equipment.  You will cover the Northern NJ and Southern CT territories.

Back to the role : What you will do :

Sales Prospecting :

  • Actively identify and visit potential customers daily within your assigned territory.
  • Participate in outreach campaigns , sales blitzes or the like as directed by your manager.
  • Customer Relationship Management :

  • Promote products and services to both new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Address and escalate client concerns to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Activities :

  • Schedule appointments, maintain detailed activity logs, and provide biweekly updates via the CRM system.
  • Shadow experienced sales representatives during client meetings and ride-alongs to enhance your sales techniques.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly and yearly sales goals.
  • Market Engagement :

  • Source and develop client referrals to expand the customer base.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • What you should have :

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; direct sales, prospecting, or cold-calling experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the commercial laundry industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Skilled at using a variety of tools, often for repairs a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel within the territory.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client visits and events.
  • High school diploma or GED is required; additional education is a plus
  • In addition to base salary, you will be eligible for monthly / quarterly commissions.
