Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Assist with taking reservations and managing waitlists using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages as needed, maintaining a smooth operation during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing utensils and condiments.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Uphold restaurant standards for hospitality, service quality, and food safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus).
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning tables.
