Laura's Bridal is looking to hire an Assistant Manager in our Plattsburgh location. As a member of the management team, you will assist in retaining high performing consultants while maintaining world class customer service.
The ideal candidate will lead by example and be focused on sales goals and the customers vision for their special day.
This is a 35-40 hour position with hours during the week, evenings, weekends and during special events.
- Prior retail sales experience is required, customer service and retail management experience is ideal
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that can be physically demanding
- Willing to do non-sales tasks such as steaming, processing orders and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Commission on sales goals possible for the right person
Primary responsibilities are assisting with the overall management of the store including but not limited to:
- Selling a variety of dresses and renting/selling tuxedos, suits and accessories
- Leadership skills with proven track record of managing staff and meeting sales goals
- Assists with administrative tasks
- Receive and process customer and stock orders
- Assists with social media
- Merchandising and store cleanliness
- Applicants must be able to lift 25 pounds repeatedly, manage stairs and be comfortable standing for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
