Farm Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manager to oversee daily operations on our horse ranch . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical knowledge, and experience in managing horses. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the efficient operation of the ranch while promoting sustainable practices and animal welfare.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily horse ranch activities.
• Manage the care and handling of horses ensuring their health and well-being.
• Oversee irrigation system.
• Utilize power tools and farm machinery for various tasks, including maintenance and repairs.
• Implement safety protocols for the use of equipment and horses.
• Train and supervise farm staff, providing guidance on best practices in horse operations.
• Maintain records of horse health, and equipment maintenance schedules.

Experience

• Proven experience in farm management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair farm machinery.
• Familiarity with animal care practices and animal handling techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
