Job Overview:

Laurel Links Country Club is seeking a responsible, attentive and energetic Lifeguard to join our team to ensure the safety and well-being of all using our outdoor pool. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and be committed to maintaining a safe, enjoyable swimming environment. As a Lifeguard you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of our members, enforcing pool rules, and providing first aid and emergency response when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor all pool activities to ensure safety and prevent accidents.

· Enforce pool rules and regulations with professionalism and courtesy.

· Provide immediate first aid and emergency response when needed.

· Maintain a Clean and organized pool area.

· Conduct regular safety and chemical tests to ensure pool equipment is in good working order.

· Communicate clearly and effectively with members, guests, staff and management.

· Participate in regular safety drills.

· Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool as required

· Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and safe experience for all members and guests.

Requirements:

· Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent.

· Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is required.

· Lifeguard management Certification is required.

· Previous lifeguard experience is preferred, especially in a country club or resort setting

· Strong knowledge of pool safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

· Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.

· Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.

· Must be at least 21 years of age and meet all legal requirements for the position

· Availability to work 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and weekends as needed during the pool season. Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
